arrecta, (arr)
- Habit: Flowering plants with almost normal growth.
- Leaves: Smaller and upwards bended. Flowering plants with dark
green, long and narrow
leaves.
- Seedlings:
- Cotyledones: Cotyledones somewhat lighter and rounder than in
Sippe 50. First pair of normal
leaves develops late.
- Hypocotyl:
- Inflorescence: The inflorescences show only few normal flowers. Many bracts without
flower bud.
- Flowers:
- Upper lip: Upper lobe petals curl over lower lobe.
- Lower lip: Middle petal
in lower lobe peak-formed, fertility under investigation.
- Bumps: Bump intensively red and brown-red coloration.
- Seed:
- Roots:
- Remarks: Male fertility very reduced. The flowers similar to
transcendens flowers.
