Habit: Main axis may be spirally distorted. Growth strongly retarded.
Leaves: Initially normal, become fleshy later and roll up.
Seedlings:
Cotyledones: Initially normal, become fleshy later and roll up.
Hypocotyl:
Inflorescence: Flowering strongly reduced.
Flowers: Flowers small and narrow (slightly malformed). Color normal.

Roots:
Remarks: Viability and germination of heterozygotes is reduced. Homozygous plants stronger affected. Grow only to 5 cm height and die without flowering. (Homozygotes possibly do not germinate?).
