Remarks: F2 146:45. The following pictures 2, 3, 4
and 5 do not represent deviations due to cycloidearadialis alleles as
described by
Stubbe H. 1966,
but alleles of a closely linked locus which has
also been named cycloidea by Enrico Coen's group in Norwich. The pictures
8 and 11 however represent the original locus as described by
Stubbe H. 1966.

Picture provided my W.E. Lönnig. Revertant from unstable
cycloidearadialis line, obtained after gene tagging
experiment. Type II. The lower lip does not close perfectly with the
upper.

this line does not produce fully radial flowers.

cycloidearadialis mutant provided by Rosemary Carpenter,
John Innes Instittute. On crossing this line with the
cycloidearadialis (Gatersleben line) the F1
plants showed nearly full complementation (wildtype like). This suggests,
two separate loci or a complex locus. It is not identical with the
cycloidearadialis mutant described by Stubbe.
