- Habit: Young plants are lighter green and without anthocyanin.

Races of homozygously rezessive incolorata
mutants are called A. majus album or
A. majus luteum in commercial catalogues.
A somatically backmutating instable allel has been described by
Kuckuck H. 1936.
This is called incoloratarecurrens.
