Perlutea, (Perl)
- Habit:
- Leaves: Leaves have a full green colour with yellow. The
upper side is shiny and rolled upwards slightly.
- Seedlings:Seedlings are of a lighter green colour. Veins are
distinct.
- Cotyledones: Edges of the cotyledones are bend upwards.
- Hypocotyl:
- Inflorescence:
- Flowers: Lips are more narrow than normal. Red pigment
reduced, yellow pigment normal.
- Upper lip:
- Lower lip:
- Bumps:
- Seed:
- Roots:
- Remarks: Gemination and viability is somewhat reduced.
perl+ is completely dominand over perl.
- Further alleles:
- perluteamutabilis mutates generatively back to the
wild type.
- perlutearecurrens mutates somatically.
- perluteavariabilis is a labile allel which mutates
to further alleles.
